All measurements are for the finished garment = personal body measurements + movement allowance. The measurements are all according to given tension.

THE GARMENT

Work cardigan from neck down.

Beg to cast on sts for the back, and work back and forth until underarms. Knit up sts on each shoulder for left and right side of front. Inc sts for v-neck, work each front until underarms and join fronts to the back. Work back and fronts in St-st back and forth, end with ribbing.

Knit up sts on armhole edge for sleeves. Work sleeves in rnds, dec at wrist for a narrow shape and end with ribbing.

TIPS

For choosing correct size, measure a sweater/cardigan from your own wardrobe that suits you well. Compare bust measurement to given bust measurement in instruction.

SUGGESTED KNITTING NEEDLES

Circular 7 mm (40 and 80 or 100 cm)

Circular 6 mm (80 or 100 cm) or double pointed 6 mm if not working magic loop method.

Needle sizes are only suggestions. If your knitting shows tighter tension, use thicker needles, for looser tension use thinner needle..
